The Suite

All the bedrooms in the Suite include a dresser and a desk, and all but one have a closet and storage shelves. The large bedroom with the king size bed also includes a mini-fridge, TV, and full-sized table/chairs. It also has a private entrance off a private patio.

The Suite includes a galley kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area, and lounge with large screen TV (network TV and Netflix). There are 2 bathrooms that feature an oversized luxury tub, and 2 walk-in showers, one shower extra large. There is a laundry closet with stackable washer/dryer. No worries about running out of hot water in the Guest Suite. We have on demand, which means perpetual hot water.

The kitchen is equipped with full-size fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher, regular oven with stove top, coffee pot, and toaster, as well as the usual dishes and pots and pans. We recycle and compost, and you will find bins for these and trash in the cupboards.

For our guests’ rainy day entertainment, we have provided in the Guest Suite a wall full of books to suit every palate, 150 movies with DVD player, and a closet full of board games and toys for the little ones.

The patio runs the length of the Guest Suite and features a 10-foot picnic table, large gas grill, and redwood deck furniture.

The sunken hot tub at the far east end of the patio is on its own private deck that includes a table and chairs.

The Suite-adjacent fire pit area at the far west end of the patio is equipped with a bin full of camp chairs, and firewood. (Note that we provide enough complimentary firewood for daily campfires, but if you keep a fire going all day, you will run out. We can provide additional firewood at our cost.)

On the west side of the house, you will see a children’s play area that includes a tree fort, play equipment, and a sandbox with sand toys. The tree fort is pretty high. Small children must be supervised at all times. This applies to the lakeside and dock as well.
