Dave and Linda were amazing hosts! They were so a accommodating with our schedule and went above and beyond with little details that truly made our stay perfect and memorable. They even had a watermelon from their garden in the fridge on top of the other breakfast options available. We really enjoyed being able to cook a dinner in the fully equipped kitchen! Beautiful fall lake views. The hot tub was sooo nice and relaxing with string lights for ambiance. It’s also located nearby some nice hikes. I would highly recommend staying at 6 crows.

My 7 year-old son and I had such a magnificent time at Linda’s lakeside home. Linda literally thought of EVERYTHING. Linda had the kitchen stocked with breakfast essentials. The hot tub was warmed up and ready to go. She had the kayaks ready to launch at the dock. We felt so welcomed and were also given the privacy we desired. We loved the big screen tv and huge DVD library. Linda was always reachable by text message. She was very flexible with our late check in and was outside to greet us with a warm smile. I felt very comfortable and had absolutely no issues. It was well worth the plane ride from Phoenix (my hometown), and 3 hour car ride from Detroit airport. I will come back very soon. Thank you, Linda, for allowing me to have such an enlightening and rejuvenating relaxation in your well-crafted oasis.

Six Crows House is a very beautiful, clean, peaceful, and comfortable place to stay. There are 4 bedrooms available. Plenty of room for the whole family. King bed was super comfortable. The host Linda made sure to communicate very promptly. Linda has many things available for her guest. All the basics and a lot more. All toiletries; shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, lotions and lots more. Fully stocked kitchen; coffee, milk, eggs, bread, butter.. The hot tub was also very nice. And so many more extras, games, movies, books..etc . We will definitely back. Thank you Linda

An awesome place for the family and kids! The cabin was quite cozy, even when the temperature dropped to 60 at night. Linda was amazing, very helpful, accommodating, and easy to communicate with, especially when our plans changed last minute due to family illness. We had two toddlers with us and they were constantly entertained! Linda even gifted them beanie babies so now they each have a unique toy to remember their first “camping trip.” This glamp is great for families who aren’t quite ready to go fully camping yet.

Glamp was just as described – fun and everything that we needed for our group of 10! Accommodations were accurate – steep slope to get to our area but Linda helped us make several trips with our belongings in her lawn tractor cart, comfortable sleeping arrangements, the kitchen was such a bonus, we used triple the firewood for only $20 extra (steal!) AND she delivered it, the hottub was spotless, the treehouse was a great perk, and even though the water was very low this year – our 6 kids loved going out with the paddle boats and kayaks several times a day. Linda recommended Pere Marquette Park which was 30 minutes away and we enjoyed Lake Michigan piers and lighthouses. The Deck was a fun beachside bar and grille! She also recommended Twin Lake park as a local beach (Lake Michigan was too windy to swim) and we had a great time there too.

Linda went above and beyond to make our anniversary weekend as special as possible. This was our first time using a BnB. I was nervous, but shouldn’t have been. Linda greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour. When we first walked in the door, there was a giant chocolate cupcake and anniversary card for us. The entire stay was comfortable, relaxing, and special. When there was an issue with another place we were staying, Linda was more than happy to let us book an additional night with very short notice. She even let us come check in about 11am instead of 3pm since we’d had to leave our other stay early. I can’t recommend Six Crows enough! We’ll definitely be back. Also, for anyone wondering, Linda permits the smoking of anything legal outside. This made our stay even better, since my husband didn’t have to run up to our car to smoke.

Linda was so helpful and welcoming for our last minute trip. The instructions are thorough, great location, and beautiful home! There are comfortable common areas and amazing touches for the guest that I would have loved to use if we stayed longer! This was a last minute trip and we simply weren’t there long enough to enjoy everything available. I should also add that the bed is so very comfortable and the bathroom is fabulous! I would stay here again!

What can I say… my kids and I had a fantastic experience here. Linda’s Superhost status is justified. She was terrific, great communication, willing to accommodate any circumstance. Lots of provided entertainment, boats. Very peaceful location on the lake. Only warning I need to give, is to folks with balance or climbing issues, the walk from parking to Glamp has a steep grade. Overall, I would recommend this rental to anyone who enjoys nature, and looking for a unique getaway!!!

This place is magical! My partner and I have rented the Inner Sanctum for a weekend getaway in 2019 and 2021 (2020 was a lost year for obvious reasons). The house is cozy, the views of the lake are BREATHTAKING, and the entire space just exudes peacefulness. Linda is a terrific host, always available to answer questions or help while still giving space for guests to do their own thing. Our weekend getaways here have become highlights of our entire year.

The view was absolutely gorgeous, the amenities were perfect, the hot tub was amazing to feel with the colder weather. Six The Glamp was excellent. It was very clean, well stocked, and maintained. Linda had everything we needed, extra pillows and blankets, toiletries, even some beach blankets we could use. The camp toilets made me nervous at first, but worked out very well. We had a little trouble with a broken shower head but her husband came down and fixed it very quickly and they were both very kind. My friends and I are considering making a trip to the Glamp a yearly tradition!

Six If you are looking for a good option, the search is over! Linda’s place is great; the bed is very comfortable, she has a nice breakfast set-up, and her greeting / introduction to the area was 5 stars. Sharing the space with others actually made it a better experience, as we bonded and had fun together. Her hot tub is lovely and huge and she has everything to pass time for the whole family! Highly recommend! We stayed for the weekend and traveled to Ludington (50 min) for a beautiful wedding and then Silver Lake (45 min) for a day of fun including Mac Dune rides (20 per adult), Jet Skiing (175/hour, up to 2 adults), Go-Cart Racing (7 pp) and zip-lining (8 pp). Mandee and I had such fun talking to other guests. Linda also made fruit cake and shared some goodies from her garden. We definitely made good use out of it! We had banana pancakes Saturday and then pepper/tomato scrambled eggs Sunday, to go with the fruit cake. I say book with Linda, with no regrets!

We had the most wonderful relaxing stay. We booked the world room and the bed was super comfortable and the attached bath met all our needs. The common area had all kinds of cool books, TV and nice eating area. The hot tub was wonderful and the lake views were perfect. We will definitely be back to stay.

What a wonderful place to vacation. We had a wonderful time and Linda was a perfect host. We were greeted promptly and they have a tractor to take our stuff down to the camp. The camp included games and we had a blast playing with the kids. We took the paddle boat out several times and the kids even said it was “better than video games”. The hot tub was a wonderful addition as well. We can’t wait to visit again next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Linda’s retreat. Internet was working great, I had no issues connecting to work when it was needed. We also streamed couple of shows on our iPads without any issues. Décor was amazing giving it a warm and cozy look. We haven’t seen our four legged member of the family so happy and excited in the recent times, he also enjoyed the stay at this property thoroughly. If an opportunity is served, we will definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic place to stay!! We had a great time using the hot tub and the fire pit. Loved the privacy of the World room with private bathroom. The bed is very comfortable and the stocked kitchen was great for cooking breakfast!

I booked this for my granddaughter’s 7th birthday. Linda could not have been a more amazing host even gifting my granddauther beanie babies! The pace was so special and forever memory for my family. Linda was an absolute pleasure to work with. Communication was outstanding. The accommodations were everything we were hoping for and then some. Would highly recommend! We will be back!

As mentioned by several others the Six Crows “Glamp” experience was well thought out and Linda and her husband really do provide everything you need. From a fully functional kitchen to blankets, pillows and sleeping bags. An extra space heater was even provided when we didn’t expect how cold it would get. There was a small hiccup with one of facilities upon our arrival which didn’t even effect us but Linda still brought down a big bowl of cut watermelon as an apology. I recommend the site for both large and small families as there is something to do for just about everyone. One thing that hasn’t been mentioned in alot of reviews that people should take into consideration before booking is the steep climb down and up from the location. It would not be a great idea for anyone with mobility issues. However, this does lend to a more private feeling and separation from the rest of the property. Overall, this was a fun experience for anyone who enjoys that “camping” feeling without all the hassle of camping at a public camp place. Linda gets two thumbs up from me!

We loved our stay at Six Crows with Linda. Our private room and the living room area were so warm and inviting. Everything was clean and even better than we expected. We had to arrive late and Linda was very helpful and flexible. We felt so comfortable here and will definitely be back when we decide to return to the area! 10/10!

This place, as advertised, is a half-step above camping. We visited late in the season and it was too cold to fully enjoy the lake and other amenities. But the little cabin was perfectly warm, and the hot tub provided us an opportunity to stay warm outdoors. I can imagine this place would be a lot of fun to rent with a group during the warmer summer months. There’s easily enough room for a large family to stay. It’s very close to a lot of good hiking, which was our major purpose for visiting the area.

This place is fantastic! We couldn’t stop exclaiming about how wonderful it was the entire trip. When we arrived Linda showed us around the property (from a safe distance) and explained the COVID related protocols. We were very impressed with how seriously this was being taken. The host was extremely kind and good at communication, for organizing check-in time, prior to the trip. The property and location was wonderful, right on a beautiful lake with different boats you can use. The space was clean and had an outdoor shower, kitchen, hammock, and hot tub. There was clearly a lot of thought put into the property and everything we needed (coffee machine, logs for fire, games, towels, extra masks etc) was already there. In addition, we were just a short drive from blueberry picking, sunflower fields, sand dunes, and Lake Michigan.

I don’t even know how to adequately rave about Linda’s place. We’re in love with it. Lake access, super clean camping, incredibly convenient amenities in the coolest little rural town. Linda and Dave are kind and generous people and the stay was even better than expected. All I wanted to do was get off the grid, chill and have some adventure and I got everything I wanted and more. Highly recommend staying here and I’ll be going back as soon as I can.

Right from the start we were welcomed with smiles and waves, it was a very positive atmosphere the entire time. Would see Linda or her husband a few times throughout the weekend with some small talk but they never intruded or made us feel “watched”. Loved the Giant Jenga and other homemade outdoor games. So thankful for people like Linda and Dave, from helping us unload until the minute we left. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be returning!

My partner and I had such a lovely time staying at Six Crows this past weekend!! This was by far the coolest bnb experience we have had. We were generally looking for a nice quiet escape from Chicago, and this was absolutely perfect. Such a gorgeous location right on the water. Linda was very accommodating and willing to help with anything! My partner and I brought our dog Quincy for our stay – she can be protective and wary of strangers at times. Linda and her husband were so kind and understanding that they even brought her treats so she could get comfortable with them. Outstanding and very pet friendly stay!! ☺️ Can’t wait to come back
