The Glamp

The Glamp features a cabin that sleeps 4 guests, 6 if you put our 2 single person tent cots into service. However, the space is much more than extra sleeping accommodations. It includes a small camp kitchen, outdoor shower, camp toilets (refreshed daily), another fire pit, outdoor games, and watercraft.

In the one-room 14’x14′ cabin, there are a Murphy double bed and a set of bunk beds that accommodate up to 4 guests. The cabin has electricity, and includes a fan and a space heater, lots of spare blankets, sleeping bags, bath linens, etc. We have also provided a mini coffee pot with coffee to get you started in the morning. There is a curtained off toilet area (with a camp toilet refreshed daily). Large picture windows provide great views of the rock garden hillside at back, and the lake just a few feet from the cabin door.

The small camp kitchen is very rustic (we call it the shack) but fully functional with double sink/running hot & cold water, full sized refrigerator, microwave, double element hot plate, countertop oven with pizza drawer, toaster, and coffee pot. Plenty of camp dishes and pots and pans. The 6-gallon electric water heater in the shack heats both kitchen and shower water at a constant 102 F. A gas grill sits on the small deck just outside the kitchen. In addition to trash, recycling, and compost bins in the kitchen, we provide a large trash can outside.

A stack of firewood is also provided for the lakeside fire pit, again, enough for daily fires but not enough to burn all day. You will find a grill designed for cooking directly over the fire if you’re adventurous. There is a dining table nearby, and a bin full of camp chairs.

We provide several bins filled with yard games like giant jenga, giant yatzee, giant ker-plunk, cornhole, bocce ball, and more. You will also find board games inside the cabin.

We provide torches if you want to bring lamp oil. We provide a canopy you might want to put up for too much sun or rain.

The large outdoor shower behind the kitchen includes a change area with hooks and full-length mirror (bath linens are provided in the cabin and tent).
